Hello Is anyone familiar with Avon SuperVan Tires? While travelling through Vermont I saw a Westy with a pair of Avon SuperVan 205 R14 C8 tires. The tread looked nice and because of the larger size they filled up the wheel wells nicely. I spoke with the driver who claimed they ran very nicely. He claimed the Avon tires, which were 3-4 inches taller than the Michelin 185R 14 tires on my van, cause the speedo to indicate 2 mph slow as compared to the standard 185 R14 tires which cause the speedo to indicate 4 mph fast. Does this seem right? Anyone familiar with these tires? Are they too large for the vehicle or for my standard 14" rims? I've wanted to put larger wheels on my van and these look great to me. Gary
