I got all enthused about this several months ago, but haven't completed the work yet.

1. The "bulb carrier" is 95% set up to take the extra bulb. There is a "trace" from the blank bulb socket to the connector, but you have to add a connector and wire to the harness end.

2. The blank bulb socket does not have a contact for the + on the bulb, but by working carefully, you can remove one from a "donor" carrier and install it.

3. Here's the glitch. For an effective rear fog light, you need a bulb equivalent to a turn signal/brake light (32 cp?). This size of bulb won't fit into the small hole on the reflector (and I have suspicions that the "reflector" may not be coated with a reflective surface). So you have to open it up.

4. For the wire to the front, when I was troubleshooting the dynamic oil pressure system on my '91 (see a posting in the summer of '97), I noticed a grey-with-green-stripe wire in the rear harness termination box and up by the fuse box. Neither end was connected to anything. Could this be used? I think maybe it could as I could find no similar wire on the Bentley wiring diagram.

-Blaine
