At cold start, idles fine until I first touch the gas, then dies.
Problem dissappears when engine is warm.

Educate me, please..... what's going on when I tap the gas?

A couple months before this developed I replaced my ignition
coil, cap/rotor, plugs, and ignition cables.  It ran better than ever
for a few weeks, and then this developed.  I suspect these things
are unrelated.

Ideers?
