By "nothing", I mean that I set the selector switch to AC, then turned on the thermostat knob and nothing happened. No sound or vibration at all. There was a little "click" when I turned the knob, but this happens whether the fridge is plugged in or not. I didn't detect any heat at the back nor any cooling at the front, so I just unplugged it and went to work, figuring that I had to have the DC hooked up. Should something happen immediately? It does make noise when it runs - it's not silent like a thermoelectric fridge, right? I've never actually seen one running, so I'm not sure what to expect.

Thanks.
