These sound like the middle seats from a 7pass. van.  I have 1 of these in
blue velour too (out of a weekender bed GL) if anyone is interested.  Seat
backs tilt forward to give room for the fold out bed.  Put some pillows on
the tilted seat back and you've got a great place to lean back and read!!

think the L transporters had these. Backs do not fold. Good shape. $40.00

No one seems interested in an 87 Wolfsburg with a bad engine, so I may be 
parting it soon. It is in repairable shape though, a couple rust spots, a 
crease or two, high miles (180k), but if someone had a motor lying about, it 
would be easy to fix. $800.00, but I’d rather not part it-someone make me an 
offer.
