As Charles said, the Bentley is the "best" is you have all the tools and all
of the sophistication needed to repair Vanagons.  If, however, you are of
limited skills and llimited tools, a Haynes manual  from busdepot.com, may be
a big help. Mine is to me. Haynes addresses problems at a DIYer level and it
presumes that you have access to the "normal," (whatever that is)"kit" of
tools.

Being of limited skills, I have both, as well as Alldata-CD (small value)
"Chilton's 'Truck Manual (even lesser value) as well as a collection of
"probable" need items, basically,  "HOW TOs" downloaded from the List (of
great value.).
