Stephen,

Similarly, I bought one from Ken but I did not use the driving lights. Instead I used a pair of 5 3/4" H4 Bosch headlamps(55/60 Watt all weather), together with my Outer Bosch Headlamps(80/100 Watt). The inner lamps have a separate switch for low, while the high beam turns on with the outer high beams. This gives me the option of turning on the inner beams independently. I did have to install 4 relays to attain maximum alternator voltage to the lights, makes a world of difference (thanks to Ulf Nyman) compared to the original setup.
