John, Steve....

Check to determine if the leaks may be caused by both the grommets and by the failure of the crossover pipe with the "Y" fittings. The "Y" fittings are plastic and they have a history of failure. The part is a dealer only at about $25.00, or so, as I remember.

Some of the grommets, and the "Y" fittings can be replaced without removing the gas tank. It is a dirty job which requires the removal of the spare tire pan and the spring retainers for the spare tire, and turning the wheels the appropriate angles to access the fittings and the overflow tanks above the front wheel wells...and small hands and some dexterity help, too.
