Scott,

Dunno about the high-beam switch mechanism in this area of problem.

From my recollection of my wife's solution of our "no lights" problem, the finding and repairing the corroded ground under the dash, there is no headlights relay in our 84 Westfalia. I'll ask her, and if there is infomation to the contrary, I'll post, again..
