Likely this is a standard RV awning bracket.

I have awnings that will slide into your bracket, or will clamp to your
raingutter by inserting a metal rod into  a pocket on the awning and them
clamping it down to your gutter.  There is also a solid vinyl bulb sewn into
the awning below the pocket.  You slide this into your awning rail.

You can also sew a thin rope into the edge of the awning and this will work
as well.
