And let me add a "nasty surprise" note:

As reported on these pages a couple of years ago, my stock fan actually caught on fire, melted the blades, and tried to set the interior wall panel ablaze as well.

As a result, I installed a low profile rocker switch right in the middle of the Dometic emblem to manually cut the fan power, replaced the melt-down with a pair of 12V muffin fans tie wrapped to the fins, and lined the back and bottom of the fridge compartment with aluminum (less flammable than the wall panel).

And I'm still paranoid about leafing the fridge on unattended!
