Fellow 'listers, I have a "new" '89 Westy GL with power locks. My problem d'jour is that the driver's door lock won't respond to direct commands. Let me explain: 1. Pushing driver's door lock down results in it popping right back up. 2. Locking the driver's door with the key results in it unlocking itself (and the rest of the car) 3. likewise for unlocking (it reverts to the previous state) however, 3. either locking via pushing the lock knob or the key from the passenger side works as expected. 4. the sliding door and the rear hatch are very slow to respond to lock/unlock commands, if they do at all. Any help? Thanks! Tom 89 Westy (Marlin) |
