Dear List,
As I near the "last leg" of my Vanagon TDi conversion I am at lost as to what part number a certain item is that was sent to me in the "Winkler TDi kit" (NOTE: the part in question was clearly used and was so rusted that no part number is visible).
Specifically, it is a SECONDARY COOLANT PUMP, used to prevent overheating on tubrocharged motors after the engine is turned off -- and it is visually the same as those used on Audi 5-cylinder turbos. I am assuming that it is a fairly common part used in various Audis and VWs.
So, anyone out there know the part number? Is there a VW equivalent? or am I "stuck" with Audi-only parts?
Cheers, Michael J. Sullivan Marshfield Hills, MA Tierra del Fuego 2000 or bust!
