Hi Gang:
  Does anyone have any experience with creating a "basement" storage unit on
their van.  A local shop did my friends Westy and was looking for idea's and
suggestions to see if this was the best solution or process.
   My friends compartment is about 9 inches deep, runs the length of the
floor (about 4 inches in front ot the bench seat to about  6 inches before
the back of the passenger seat).  Its about 9 inches wide but tapers to 4
inches as it gets near the passenger seat.
   The only problem I could see was maybe a high speed bump causing some
problems?   Sure does look like a good way to get extra storage.  Any one
ever see any kits to complete this modification?
