PerL, I believe it's been known that the Synco speedo/odometer are showing about 10% higher than the actual speed if you use tires with factory specified size. It's happened to both my original 205/70-14 97T Reinforced Michelin MXL's and my current 205/70-14 99T Reinforced Michelin MXT's.
