Hi Rolf,

There's a relay in there somewhere which controls the glowplug cold start timer. Is the glow plug LED lighting when the ignition is switched on? Sometimes glow plugs can go open. Disconnect the cable from the top of each plug in turn an connect an ohm meter across them. They should all read extrememly low ( <1 ohm, from memory ). If one of them is open, it's usually enough to cause a problem. On my old DX-engined Peugeot, the interior lights dimmed when the glow plugs kicked in and noticeably brightened when the relay kicked back out ...
