As many of the list members may know, most original Vanagon parts are made of Unobtanium, mined by hand in the Black Forests of Germany. Unobtanium is mixed with the other metals used in Vanagons to produce a material with superior strength, weight and personality properties. Unfortunately, this element is getting harder to find day by day. This is why VW switched to making the Eurovan; it is made of the usual soft steel and plastics, thereby rendering it an ordinary vehicle. In fact, it's a car, not a Volkswagen. ;->
