If you used the diesel Vanagon bell-housing, you have and access cover just like the one on Rabbits and Golfs, etc. I guess if you use a adapter plate, that would be another issue.....Hmmmmmm. Maybe you will need to remove one of the glow-plugs and a dial indicator to determine TDC, and then scribe some reference marks on the crank pulley and block.
