Joel,
My EV is great in the snow, but I have some of the world's best snow tires on
it made by Nokian.

If the tires are old, you will get poor traction.  This past winter, I passed
a Ford 4 x 4 on a big hill in our subdivision.  I don't think he ever made it
up that icy hill

The EV will do great with some good tires.
