Subject: breather valve...where does it go on 1.9TD

Hello Folks,

Well I got he 1.9td fire up in the Vanagon a few days ago. After running it fora few minutes I realizeed that I had totally forgotten about the breather or PVC hole on the top of the valve cover. The manual I have for the 1.9 does not show good detail as to where the other end goes. I imagine it goes to intake system some how.. but where?

Before the turbo? I cannot imagine it goes after the turbo.. What regulate how much draw is on the crankcase as apposed to the air incomming from the air filter? I just don't have really good documentation on this subject... sorry I know its been discussed before.

BTW I could not find archives for this list.. Thank you for reading
