Hi all,

As I was passing by Triangle Auto Brokers in Durham NC (919) 220-9476, I saw an '88 silver GL for sale. It has 109kmiles, automatic transmission, manual windows, no cruise, ac, no rear speakers anymore, a worn and dirty gray interior, some rust spots around the trailing arm mounts, an aftermarket luggage rack on the roof, a homemade exhaust pipe between the 2-1 joiner and the cat (welded), coolant stain evidence (white chalky stuff) everywhere, extremely rusty exhaust components, passenger car tires, and a hole in the bottom of the rear fiberglass bumper. I would think this one has spent some time up North, but it has an "outer banks" sticker on the back -- maybe they took it on the beach too much. I didn't notice any signs of a previous accident or body damage. I suppose if their asking price is right, it has potential . . . you even get a Red Hat sticker on the back window.

That's all I know, and I have no affiliation or knowledge of the previous owner, the used car lot, yada yada yada

Michael Townsend
