I have something to ask the list about this. On both my present 87 Syncro and my previous 88 Syncro, I have 185/R14 tires. In my area the Police has a speed sensor, that shows your speed in big red numbers. I'm sure many of you've seen this, and i is a great way of checking your speedometer. The thing is, on both of my Syncros, the radar showns 69 kmh when the Syncro speedo shows 80 kmh. Way off, in other words. Any other noticed this? Will this be better with 215/75R15 tires?

The letters are for load index, not plys. I have 8 ply C marked BFGs on my Syncro. Btw, anybody familiar with the BFGoodrich Commercial 2 LT? I have these on my Syncro, they are produced in '96, and don't show on the website. All in all, I am happy with them. Now exactly offroad tires, though.
