The white Westfalia on the front page of the Chronicle was right under a tornado that was carving a path through Salt Lake City.

Have you seen The Endless Summer 2 ( http://us.imdb.com/Title?0109729 <http://us.imdb.com/Title?0109729> )? There is a white Syncro frolicking on the beaches in South Africa.

There also was a white Westfalia on the front page of the San Francisco Chronicle last week...

Happy Monday! Peter

I just finished watching the Jackie Chan movie "Rumble in the Bronx" on TV, and what type of car was the police's surveillance van than a pea-green baywindow, with a white highroof! No good shots of the van, except enough details to see that it was a VW. There was also a shot where they pulled into the scene and stopped, and it didn't sound like a air-boxer at all! Maybe it was a Mexican 1,8 I-4? I dunno!!!
