I just updated my website and I have a picture of the 5-cylinder conversion that I did just a few weeks ago. So all you folks that have been buggin' me about seeing the engine installed in a Vanagon, here you go. Yes is fit right under the decklid and won't interfere with the rear bed. Yes the ground clearance is the same as a normal Vanagon. No I didn't have to cut any part of the body. Yes you can access your oil dipstick through the licence plate. You can't access the water tank but that is what the low level warning light is for. This ain't a waterboxer so checking the waterlevel at each gas fill up is not as critical.
