Fellows and Fellaws:
I bought one of those 20'LED that you stick to the rear window from
JCWhitney. I routed a cable from the cable connectors of the brake light in
the engine compartment up the airdam towards the grill. Took this grill out
and drilled a small hole into the roof. Threaded the cable into the roof
and into the rubber grommet/tube of the defroster cable (pillar to hatch
door) and again threaded towards the lower part of the hatch. Drilled
another small hole in the base of the window (just barely missing the rubber
window seal) towards the center of the hatch. Thread the light fixture
cable inside the door and connected to the cable coming from the brake
light. Stick the light in the glass and tug down the excess cable. It is
working fine and no fuse has blown.
