First, see if the tint is water-based in adherence material.Some window tints are. If it is, use water and clean the windows.

If it is a "glue," as was mine, and I used "Lift Off," from Loctite. The prime ingredient is "Xylol,:" readily availabe in paint stores at considerably less cost than branded, spray-can " Lift-Off."

"Removes bumper stickers, contact paper, pinstriping," and, among other items, not specificalluy mentioned is widow tinting, though Lift-Off worked for me.
