Well Volks,

Most of you probably do not know that Mercedes Benz tested their new A class setup in a Vanagon because they did not have their own chassis yet. This meant putting a front wheel drive setup into the rear wheel drive Vanagon (not recommended for westys !). This opens up a whole new set of possible conversions with some modifications to the interior. You will gain a new potential trunk - where you you find the engine now.

Just some food for someone crazy enough ..... :)
