This story reminds me of a job I did at my condo - I had concrete stipple in
the ceiling, and I hated it.

So, after trying to remove it (impossible) I decided to fill it with drywall
mud, and then sand it smooth.

Over 220 Lb of mud, and more than 80 hrs later, my ceiling was ready to be
primed.

Do not try this at home!
