I say, let's get the price of a gallon of gasoline down to ~25¢ per, trade
in all of these wheezy VWs for some good ol' 6.2L V8 4WD extended length
'Merican vans, and have a blast! "Westy", here I come...

Besides, all those folks that just shelled out $40K for their new
Superfluous Urban Vehicles (SUVs) are starting to feel a new kind of road
rage. Sure, they're all Kings and Queens of the road now, but on a
commoner's paycheck. They weren't fairly warned that the price of gasoline
might someday rise closer to it's true cost...

OK, just kidding with the above. Keep in mind that a scientific survey found
that the true cost of a gallon of gasoline is at least $15. Factor in
subsidies, environmental remediation, medical effects, and ???, and that
number seems to be real. I do not have the source, was told by a reliable
person about this study. If I find it, I will post it or a link.
