If your tank is still out, you might want to take it in and get the Auto Stop valve replaced by a standard fill valve and bleed valve. The on/off valve should be considered for replacement as well. All parts and labor should be about $70-80. The Auto Stop valves are known for failing as they age and the result is that all propane will leak out of the tank and you may not be aware of it until you go to use it.
