Subject: Big Brakes for your Vanagon Are Here!!!!!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Listees,

I have Big brakes for the 2WD Vanagons both early (80-85) and Late (86-91) are available!! For the Syncro owners that want to make these fit the difference is a 7mm (or so) spacer between the caliper and the upright

The early kit comes with the 86-91 Uprights too allow you to bolt this larger caliper on to it.

Kit includes;

Early Kit $830.00

Rotors Hubs Calipers Pads Wheel Bearings Knuckles Dust Shields

Late Kit $630.00

Rotors Hubs Calipers Pads Wheel Bearings

As you see there are HUBS. This means that the rotor is a “slip on” style and the bearings are pressed into the hub as opposed to being in the rotor.

The instructions will include a procedure for adjusting the proportioning valve to compensate for the much-improved front brakes.

There are only a limited number of these kits right now. There will be more soon but the quantity that there are at the moment will be gone quickly until the second batch.
