Ok bought an 87 a bit ago. Promptly threw a tranny. Ordered one $795. + $600. core. Installed it, like a dumb#ss forgot to buy a clutch to install while the thing was out. Remembered cv boots and rebuilt axles while I was there. Working through some other details, installed a disc player, but still couldn't get tunes out of the driver's side speaker. Red Flag! grabbed hold of the drivers door conduit from the dash area, Empty! "Oh" I says "that's why my mirrors wont work either!" One of the DPO's had cut the wires. Upon further investigation found wires severed AGAIN at the mirror bases. Arrrgh! Took apart mirrors tonight. Found one of the adjuster assemblies to have been siliconed in! Arrgh! So I think I can salvage and make operable the driver's side mirror out of this mess. But the passenger side will have to be cannibalized. Anyone have a right side mirror (with complete wiring harness if possible please) available for sale or otherwise?

TIA Yours in Vanagonhood oh and sorry for the long wind, Wade
