If gear oil is getting inside the CV joints, it is the plug seals in the flange.plate. Remove the joint and check the plug is seated properly and that it does not have a hole in it. If the gearbox is overfilled, the excess pressure will sometimes blow this plug out. I usually use a little sealant to hold them in place. Dennis
