That may have been me. I send most folks to one of two sources. John R Sweet in Mustoe VA sellsl them for about $40 a set(4) plus shipping and handling. He's and old timey whitewater paddler(Sweet's Falls on the Gualey is named for his first descent of it back in the early 70's.). He doesn't do credit cards so prepay or COD. Phone is 540-468-2222. Also Mad River Canoe sells them for slightly more if you need to use plastic. Both outfits are super to deal with. Mad River Canoe Co. 1_800-843-8985 or 1-800-942-2663 They make the finest canoes in this country and probably the world.
