You didn't say what year your Vanagon is, or even if it's the inside or outside sliding door handle that you need.

If it's an outside handle for an '85-up, I do have a few _complete_ original German door handle/lock kits left for $89. This is about what the dealer gets for the sliding door handle alone. This kit includes every exterior handle on the van plus all lock cylinders except the gas cap, all keyed to match.

If you need an exterior sliding door handle for an '80-84, these are currently quite pricy (about $70), although I will have them for a bit less in October when I start importing them directly from Germany.
