Not having heard from the list on just what the filling procedure was, I
did find a RV mech that knew the trick. This was after a propane guy
couldn't get more than 3/10 of a gallon in, and I knew it was empty and
could hold a full 3 gallons.

FWIW.... the bleed valve on th right side of the Auto Stop valve has to
be *fully* opened and remain open during filling. (If there is too much
tank pressure or pressure on the filling hose, the 'red button valve'
can't be pushed in to start filling.) Depress the 'red button' and *very*
slowly and gently work the propane hose filling handle. Close the valve
on the right side when filled.

There is 3 full gallons of propane in my 'looks like new' tank with *no*
leaks! I'm ready to go and I will know next time how to do it and using a
ballpeen hammer ain't the way!
