I doubt that the injection pump would work with propane -- diesel fuel isn't very lubricious, but propane is not at all, I think.

Really, really REALLY bad. I'm quite sure it's less than half by mass, which would put it at well under one-quarter by volume. In other words, the fuel will cost three times as much, instead of two-thirds as much. Sorry...
