My 1990 Syncro has 215/75 15" and no trye rub. Only problem i have is where to put the spare!!

I have noticed on some of the smaller/new jap 4wds the tyre actually swings up with the rear door when opening. I guess this needs bigger gas struts to take the weight......may be a possibility what do you all think??
