Much better than a third brake lite is tying aa bunch of loosely stacked kayaks on their sides on top of your vanagon. As drivers watch them blow around on top of the van, they avoid your backside like it's HIV virus. Trick performed by professional kayaker(also skilled in boat repairs!) Do not attempt this at home....
