Sean, Those are tough circumstances and each driver has to deal with them the best way he can. I probably would have tried my emergency flashers first, to see if that would warn him off. If that got no results, I would slow down to a crawl, forcing him to back off or pass. If he hit you then, at least it wouldn't be at full speed. I'll give you points for innovation, though. In a more powerful vehicle, you could have tried the old slam on the brakes then hit the gas before he hit you routine, but in that car you would have just run away from him. The best solution would have been a rear mounted Sidewinder missile, but they are so hard to explain to the patrolmen. Larry
