That might work if it's just one truck.  However, in a similar vein, if
you go to appalachia, you'll be tailgated by coal haulers that
approximate rolling houses.  They typically have substandard safety
equipment (brake pads are expensive right?) and are loaded beyond the
legal safety limit.  Wrecks are not uncommon but I don't think I've
heard of any coal truck driver casualties... just the unfortunate folks
around them.  If you pull over however, it may oinly be 5-10 mins before
another one crowds your rearview.  BTW, we're talking tiny winding roads
also.
