This van was built in February 1991 but sold as a 1990 in California to meet
California emission standards. I have been the only owner. It has 67,000
miles on it. Alot of road trips early in its life but pretty much relagated
to in town driving (10 miles/day to/from work). It's Alpine White with Grey
cloth interior. The Carat package includes: power windows, cruise control,
air conditioning, removeable rear-facing seats behind the driver and front
passenger seats, fold out table, rear bench seat that folds out into a bed,
privacy curtains, 5-spoke alloy wheels, automatic transmission, and body
color matching outside rear-view mirrors. Also includes AM/FM/Cassette
stereo (factory installed), 50% tint on all windows except for windshield.
No significant wear on interior. Exterior excellent with exception of
quarter-size dent in rear to the right of the Volkswagen nameplate.
4-Michelin MX4 tires installed at 45,000. The left head was replaced at
53,000 miles, the transmission was replaced at 55,000 (coolant leaked into
trans), and the right head was replaced at 60,000.
