Subject: HELP-HEADS NEEDED ASAP

As noted in a post a short time ago, my heads started leaking as a result of engine overheating caused by a ruptured lower radiator hose. My 86 Syncro was left in the capable hands of my trusted mechanic. (I am traveling on business in Chicago now and will drive back to Minneapolis on Monday.) He found out late Friday that both of my heads are cracked and therefore can not be reused.

If anyone has one or two extra heads (in new or like-new condition) for the 2.1 engine that they are willing to part with for a reasonable price, please contact me ASAP (by e-mail or on my cell phone at (612) 237-6653). If I cannot locate heads by Monday, then I will fork over the $ to one of the reliable List Vendors for new or rebuilt heads.

Time is of the essence, as BBTA is this coming weekend. If I can't get the Syncro fixed in time, then I will be forced to drive a Toyota.

Thank you all for any help or suggestions.

Budd Premack 86 Syncro (down, but not for the count) Minneapolis, MN (Land of Sky-Blue Waters)
