fyi, i have a UK dealer brochure from '88 with good pics and specs of these highroof panelvans, like the kind used by the German Post Office. if anyone's interested, maybe i can get karl bloss to scan them on his website.. in the specs, it says the roof is raised by 415mm, which is plenty of room to stand up in. also, many of these Highroof panelvans were double door panels, which meant that there are sliding doors on both sides. there are 3 different cab partition options. the first is the full partition, which is a sheet metal wall between the cab and the cargo area, with a little window in it. this is the non walk thru. the 2nd cab partition option is a walk thru partition, with roof height partition behind the front seats, but its split in the middle to walk thru. there is also a half-wall bulkhead for the non-walkthru bench front seat models. all highroofs have a little storage "attic" above the cab area, for smaller items, with a littls shelf to keep items from falling out.
