Of course, putting the kayaks on top would be too tall, so they hung them off the sides of the high-roof! One on each side. Dont know if they used some rack, or if it was self-made. I only saw it in traffic. Maybe you can use a rear hatch carrier on the side, with some modifications to the rack? Hook it onto the slider door instead of the rear hatch, maybe? Just a thought.
