Hi list, Ok, this seem pretty stupid, but would someone please explain to me what exactly a pushrod tube does? I have read a lot of stuff in the archives about replacing them, lots of stuff about damaged ones, but I cant find any generic discussion of what they really do. Also, besides being totally bent or worn, are there other signs to look for that may warn of early damage? Such as a couple of small dents, more like dimples, a couple of centimeters long and a half centimeter wide? About this size: ==== horizontally across the tube.... Thanks for helpin a rook, Jeff |
