Fire extinguisher types depend on the need and your preferences. CO2 and dry chemical are the best commonly available extinguishers for car fires. Yes, the dry chemical types leave a corrosive mess that must be cleaned up, but they put out far more fire for their size than CO2 in a typical car fire. Since you have that big CO2 extinguisher, take it along and use it first, since it leaves no mess. Then if it doesn't get all the job done you can finish off with your dry chemical extinguisher. When shopping for extinguishers, go by the numbers, and get one that is refillable and has a gauge. Your 10A5BC is very small. The bigger the number, the more fire of that type it will put out.
