Stuart, This is a concern, but I have been reading rack posts on the list for about 1 1/2 years now and have never seen a report of a problem with mounting racks to the fiberglass pop top (only seen expressed fears of a problem). Have you seen any such reports? On the other hand I have seen many posts saying they have had no problem with mounting the rack to the fiberglass pop top. Bill 90 WEsty Syncro
