Subject: rear bed/seat adjustment?
Content-type: text/plain

Hello volks,

recently I haven noticed that while folding the rear seat of my 84 westy into a bed that it isn't a smooth operation, it occasionally sticks in the seat position and does not want to lay flat. When it does go flat into the bed position it is not a secure flat surface. It is almost like the hinge is hyperextended, as if your elbow was to bend to far and start to go backward. creating a hump in the middle of the seat when its in the bed position. If it would just stay in one position I would learn to live with it, but as you move around it shifts and makes noise. Has anybody else experienced this and have a solution. I can not notice anything out of the ordinary with the hinge. any ideas? Tonight I will look in the Bentley but I thought I would ask the group for ideas.
