If you are in Frankfurt I highly recommend you go and see Reimo. They are, like Westfalia, in the business of camper conversions. Unlike Westfalia they sell conversion kits for the do-it-yourself-at-home folks. They still sell conversion kits for the Vanagon (!!!) btw. Looks exactly like the Westfalia conversions. Reimo is located in the small town of Egelsbach, 20 minutes (by car) south of Frankfurt. From Frankfurt you can also take the train (S-Bahn) to Darmstadt and exit at Egelsbach station. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the Industriegebiet (industrial zone). Look for Toom-Markt (a very big super market). Reimo is very close to it. Check out http://www.reimo.de for more info. In Egelsbach they have a store (more like a super market with shopping carts) where they sell all kinds of accessories for camper conversions. Lots of stuff for the T2!!! Also make sure you pick up their catalog.
